Instead of the 18 minutes required to watch some bullshit TED talk about algorithms, use those same minutes to watch this *amazing little piece of work by Ira Glass* which is about how to tie balloon animals but not really about that at all.

If you are thinking about how to tell a story, or communicate some important data, and you don’t see why just *stating the facts* isn’t enough, watch this. And if you know how to tell a story, watch it anyway.

PS: I’m still mad at Ira Glass about the Mike Daisey thing. But that doesn’t make this less amazing.
